Success is just around the Bend.
NONPROFIT CALL FOR VOLUNTEER NOMINATIONS!
This is your opportunity to recognize that special volunteer and share his or her accomplishments with the Fort Bend County community at the annual Fort Bend Volunteers! breakfast scheduled for September 23, 2015 at Safari from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
This year there are five categories from which you may choose to recognize a volunteer, but only one volunteer will be recognized from an organization. Up to ten volunteer submissions will be accepted in each of the five listed categories. Once a category is filled, organizations making subsequent nominations within a filled category will be asked to select another category in which to nominate a volunteer.
Below you will find links to the nomination categories, guidelines and applications as well as the Fort Bend Volunteers! letter. Please review the categories and submit your volunteer nomination. REMEMBER, some categories may fill faster than others. Be prepared to move to another category and, possibly, nominee should your original nomination be too late to secure a spot in a category. Nominations will be date stamped and first-in fills the allotted spots in each category.
Submit your application and forms to Matthew Ferraro at firstname.lastname@example.org
Fort Bend Volunteers! invites all tax-exempt organizations, government entities, hospices and hospitals to post their events and start recruiting volunteers.
Fort Bend Volunteers! connects potential volunteers with nonprofit organizations. Volunteers search Fort Bend Volunteers! for opportunities in their community. When volunteers see a listing they are interested in, they simply click on it to connect with the organization and get involved. Participating Fort Bend County nonprofit organizations can post events, track interested volunteers and increase the visibility of their organization.
